Hongdae and Cherry Blossoms

Last weekend we went to Seoul. Taylor, Akila, and I all stayed in our friend Graciela's 1-bedroom apartment. We went to see the famous Cherry Blossom trees. Unfortunately, they had not bloomed. I'm sure they're all in bloom now, we just went a week early.
We literally only saw 1 tree in full bloom. :( But Taylor got some cool pictures of that one tree.

On Saturday night, we went on a food tour. Instead of eating at just 1 restaurant, we either shared meals or ordered small portions at all of our stops. We went to a really cool part of Seoul called Hongdae. It's the college part of town. Tons of restaurants and lots to do.

1st Stop: Dam Dam- a cute little restaurant that looks like it formerly could have been a house.
We had Cheese Curry (yuck) and Italian Pasta

2nd Stop: Our second stop was supposed to be Mexican food, but I also had this dog cafe on my mind. We thought we'd have to take the subway to get there, so after our meals, we were going to head to the dog cafe. We unexpectedly stumbled across the dog cafe as we were heading toward Stop 2.

It's called Bau House Dog Cafe. You can order drinks, but it is known for the dogs running around everywhere. We had fun seeing and petting the dogs. A lot of them were really fat because people can buy treats and feed them.
These people obviously had treats.

The next dog was so lazy, it wouldn't move when we tried to sit down!
Stop 3: Hong Taco: Fresh Guacamole, which is very RARE in Korea. It was darn good too.

Stop 4: Burger B's. The girls split 1 hamburger, and Taylor had his own.

And lastly, a video of all the madness of the Bau House Cafe.
